Net Readout shows you what your connection and device reveal. It does not keep any of it.

What the tests read

• Your IP address and the network details that come with it (internet provider, approximate location, time zone). Our host, Cloudflare, adds these to each request.
• Details your browser makes available to every website (browser, system, screen, settings).
• For the speed test, the time that test data takes to travel. The test data is random and is discarded.

What we store

Nothing. The results show in your browser and go when you leave the page. We use no cookies, no analytics and no advertising scripts. This site loads nothing from other websites.

Who else is involved

Cloudflare hosts this site. Like any host, it processes your IP address to deliver the pages, under its own privacy policy. The WebRTC check on the health page asks Cloudflare's STUN server which public address your browser shows.

Changes

If this changes, for example if we add analytics, this page will say so first.
